Terrible thing Steven has done: Took control of "Poltergeist" from Tobe Hooper, fired the original writer of the "Poltergeist" novelization, cancelled "Night Skies" to do E.T., was a jerk to Rick Baker because he wouldnt do the effects for E.T., fired Megan Fox from "Transformers" for making a Nazi joke about Michael Bay, and cheated "Poltergeist" fans out of the special edition that they deserved.

Steven Spielberg is NOT a nice person! He bullied a lot of people during his prime.

Sadly A24 got the rights to the "Halloween" franchise.

A24 is another terrible company that makes terrible horror movies like Blumhouse.

Watched it again last night and I still like it; It kinda reminded me of Beetlejuice and Edward Scissorhands mixed with a John Hughes film with elements of Corpse Bride. I really dug the soundtrack and I loved Kathryn Newton in this (she's in this and she was in that Abigail vampire film which I didn't mind). Kathryn Newton needs to stick with horror and *NOT* with the garbage Marvel shit which I hated her as ReCASTsie but the writing was more to blame than her. Cole Sprouse really shocked me in this (apparently he learned miming techniques for the film) and he did a great job with it especially with the piano scene and I can't wait to see him in more stuff. I liked the stepsister and how nice and was the only character I liked, aside from the dad and Lisa. The comedy works and it kinda reminded me of Warm Bodies at times. But yeah it's been a good year for film, especially for horror and action.

This is just a one time watch for me mostly due to the director involved I do love and respect Barry Jenkins this is only a one-time watch for the director if I had to choose between this and Sonic 3 I will go with Sonic 3 mufasa is going to be a one time watch and that's it.
